Falls apart but gets the job done
What's bad:So obviously this product is very cheap but the thing literally fell apart while I was using it both times. I had to press one piercing in the rest of the way after it fell apart. It felt like Vlad the Impaler got a side gig at a piercing shop. The clear plastic parts fell off immediantly after I pinched it closed over my ear lobes. That and the backs of the earrings got stuck in its plastic bit and I had to pry it out.What's good:The earrings are cute and they didn't have a bad reaction on my sensitive skin whatsoever so they must be actual stainless steel. They're also easy to use beside the fact they're kinda crap.

Easy piercing, but earing catches on nearly anything. be careful!
Although i was worried initially because other reviewers said the piercer fell apart, i had no such issues. I did my ears myself very easily. the problem I had is that you have to be *very careful* with these particular earrings. Obviously you can't take them out for two weeks while they heal or i would have, but because of the way the earing is designed, the little arms that hold the crystal in place provide just enough friction to catch on nearly anything you can imagine, from your pillow to t-shirts and towels. Just make sure you are hyper-aware of that fact because although it doesn't get pulled out (it's very firmly together) it will hurt like heck! But for about 5 bucks, can't really beat it.

Fast and Easy
My husband pierced my cartilage with it... I did both in the same ear. It gets stuck half way in because of the clear protective pieces that are around the pin of the stud but it gets the job done... you simply have to push it in and attach the back of the earring. I’m very happy with the resultUpdate: the stones on the earrings are too big to get behind to clean. It does the job of piercing the ear but I had to switch it out to another earring so I can clean it because it was hurting and throbbing and risking infection.. it hurt like hell switching it 4 days after I pierced it

Awesome and inexpensive ear piercing
Awesome and so easy. It isn’t expensive so you get what you pay for. If you’re expecting something akin to what you would get at a piercing salon this is not it. If you want a crazy cheap way to pierce your ears this is the perfect option.

Gun worked great earrings caused irritation. (Sensitive ears)
My ears are sensitive and ir caused them to get swollen months after I pierced them. I’ve been cleaning them and everything.Gun worked great!

Works and it’s easy.
Worked like a charm. So easy. Yes, you can do it at home. I recommend using it to pierce someone else’s ears (not your own).
