the yo
Some of this yo is limited by the parts you put inside it. But for it you can get another whole yo to unlock a before limited setback in terms of inside it. The reason this yo is so highly rated by me is it's perfect and I'll talk about why; the thumb grind, the elevator, and the gravity pull. This yo has the spot to grind on your thumb. This yo does the elevator trick better than others, if that trick is part of your routine you simply must try it with this yo. And finally this yo goes from gravity pull strait to the drop into the sleeper which is perfect for kids who have not yet learned the throwdown. That's it thank-you my ma has reminded me we put this yo together together and it worked really well and all the parts were super duper and a pleasure to work with.

short sleeper
only spun for 10 seconds when new had to clean bearing and relube with yoyo jam lube. I get 30 second sleep time now. I only can achieve basic 1a tricks with this. My next yoyo will be a yoyo factory dv888 and for that you need to learn a bind to get to get it come back up. Not getting another yoyo at Amazon. I think they get the rejects just buy it on a yoyo shop online. Do your research.

Great responsive!
This is my first real yoyo in like 15 years, and I love it. Very nicely responsive, but still good enough to do intermediate-level string tricks. If you're looking to do tricks and need something as a stepping stone to unresponsive play, I highly recommend this.

Good toy.
My Grandson loves these yoyos. He is very happy. These were part of his birthday gift. Keeps him occupied trying out new tricks.

Very responsive
I have been into yoyos off and on for several years, acquiring several Duncans and Yomega brands along the way.My recent purchases have been two of the three Yomega Yomods. The "pro" black unresponsive version, and the "G-R" green responsive version. The level of response means the amount of upward pull one applies to yoyo string in order to pull a yoyo back up from a sleeper. The unresponsive version, in theory means that an extremely hard tug of the string will not cause the yoyo to return.Across the Yomega Yo-mods, there are several design features that change in order to make each version go from a responsive to unresponsive. Design changes are in the gap width, the rim weight, the response pads, and the bearing type. Both blue and green versions of the Yo-mod come with the same type of ball bearing, an eight ball shielded size C bearing. The black version comes with an unshielded size C 10 ball bearing. The green Yo-mod has the narrowest gap width across the three versions at 3 mm, the lightest rim weight at 60 grams, and the softest rubber response pads. All three features make the green Yo-mod the most responsive version of the Yo-mods.I cannot comment on the sleep times as these very by the skill level of the player. Some people have claimed that the Yo-mods wobble too much, the wobble is just due to poor skill, not a manufacturing defect. What I like about the G-R version is that the high response, and light weight makes it easy to perform tricks and get a return without having to apply much force. I am freer to perform string tricks at a slower pace because I am not pressured to finish up a trick before the yoyo runs out of spin. The yoyo itself feels comfortable to hold, and if it flies up into my hand unexpectedly, it doesn't hurt as bad as a yoyo with a modified shape. Certain tricks like the Stop & Go, a UFO, or even a loop are easier to perform with the G-R version of the Yo-mod. However because of the level of response, it is very unforgiving to poor technique. There are some drawbacks. For instance, the packaging does not include instructions, and because the Yo-Mod is not assembled, it becomes an issue for people that never had to put together a yoyo before. Problems that can occur while assembling are installing the spacers and grip pads incorrectly. A video on Yomega's website attempts to clarify the problem, but they should have included instructions in the packaging. In terms of durability, I have banged it around accidentally but it is still holding up. Made out of plastic means it will hold its shape better than metal. So far with a couple of accidental drops on the floor, there hasn't been any problems yet. I won't fully vouch for the durability until it comes time to replace something.
