The box shipped very fast, less than a week from the time I ordered it to the time it arrived at my door. I got it as a present for my girlfriend who does happen to love John Lennon, but this little box is adorable and anyone would be won over by its charm. The carvings on the box are gorgeous and super detailed, and the wood appears to be quality birch. Inside the box the mechanism is well machined and plays beautifully when the crank is turned. All in all this is a high quality music box that fits in the palm of your hand, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a gift for the John Lennon/Music Lover in their life.

Could be better
This little box is cute for a cheap gift but the engraved words are barely discernable. It's good for a stocking stuff or maybe secret santa. It was relatively cheap so you get what you paid for

Small, but very cute!
It is very small, fits in the palm of your hand. However, I expected that based on the reviews I had already read. It is still very cute and a perfect little add on gift to a Beatles fan.

The music box arrived on time and worked perfectly but it was very, very small! Thought it would be bigger but it was as small as a match box, very cute and well made but not good as a gift alone, plus it's not a wind-up music box you have to crank it by hand.
