What a time saver and makes for an accurate install!!
I had put in new kitchen cabinets and when I got the pulls I first was going to make a template to intsall them. When I looked on Amazon and saw this jig I ordered it immediately and it is a great tool. If you take your time in setting up the parameters and just hold the jig in place you get perfect holes every time. I used a squeezable clamp to help hold it in place. The guide holes are perfect for a 3/16" bit and appear to be of stainless steel or other hardened steel. The tool has both metric and inch markings so you can use either. I installed pulls on 4 drawers of different sizes and16 cabinets of two different sizes in less than 2 hours including setup with perfect holes every time. This definitely one of the better tools I have purchased. The storage case is nice to keep all the parts together.

Perfect for DIY installation of door/drawer pulls
It looks like there are many makers of this type of tool. I choose this one more or less at random to help with the installation of 15 cabinet door and drawer pulls on some newly installed cabinets in my home. The plastic guides are of sufficient quality to get through years of use in my estimation. The guide set screws seem to be of high quality as well. The guide holes accept a 3/16" bit, which is the norm for fitting #8 metal screws which accompany many if not most types of handle. These metal-reinforced guide holes held up perfectly for the single job did (30 holes). There are instructions included, but I admit they could be clearer, especially for people who have never used such a jig before. Fortunately, there are several videos on youtube that show clearly how to use this type of guide. The result was perfectly placed handles in just a couple of hours of time. My wife was pleased with me for saving $160 for professional installation of our handles. Yes, quite pleased.

Huge time saving!
It is a total game changer when installing handles or knobs on cabinets. Makes the completion of the project so much faster, it took me about 1 hour to install 21 handles on the new kitchen cabinets I got for one of my rental units vs. the 5 hours that took me to install just 20 handles 1 year ago on another rental because I didn't have a template and had to measure each individual door and drawer. If you are a professional installer looking for precision and need to use a jig everyday you should consider to get a more expensive model that is all metal built, but for the regular home owner or someone who is got a a few projects during the year, this jig will deliver very good results and will save you lots of time. Definitely a good value!

This thing works!
Recently moved and wanted to add handles to many cabinets that previously were handle-less but I did not want to fuss with making several jigs for positioning them. This device is inexpensive and should last a lifetime for an amature like me. Best of all, it is simple to use and the job looked like it had been done by a pro. The only thing I would suggest is that a set of instructions should be included so you do not need to scout down a video onlyine.

Happy Customer
My husband and I and just renovated our kitchen and that included painting our cabinets and switching out the existing knobs with new 4" handles. I was searching for tools that would make the process as simple as possible and came across drill guides. After comparing this with some other more expensive ones I decided to give this one a try. Not disappointed at all.My husband said this made the process go so much quicker versus using a smaller plastic piece he got from a furniture store. Everything was straight forward and lined up perfectly for him. He was very impressed. He did have a problem with the first hole that he drilled lining up correctly, but admitted that it was his mistake in learning how to use the tool.I asked if he had any complaints about the drill guide at all and he said that if he intended to use it as a professional for everyday use he would go with something more heavy duty and professional grade. But for home projects this drill guide was perfect.

Easy to use but had a design flaw that makes it hard to use.
Product was very easy to set up and lined up my measurements perfectly but it has a critical design flaw. When using a clamp to secure it to the cabinet, it bows. The optimal location to clamp it is towards the center of the jig on the center post. This post is thinner than the surrounding guide posts. Clamping on the guides blocks the hole for the drill bit. I tested it on two cabinets one with the clamp and one without and got different results. In the end I opted to use a $9 store bought guide template which worked flawlessly. This jig is a nice looking product and if the center post was the same thickness as the guides I have no doubt it would have worked flawlessly.

Great Tool for homeowner or handyman use.
Perfect for our needs. I installed 64 knobs and pulls. For occasional use or diy projects this worked great. If you need to install cabinet knobs professionally, I would invest in something heavier duty as the jig has some flex. The jig is designed to be held against the top and the side of a door or drawer. On wide drawers I had pulls with 8” on center. I could only set the jig against the top, as the jig isn’t wide enough. It was easy enough to just mark the center and hold the jig on the mark. I am very pleased with how our knobs came out.

A good tool for the casual user.
This worked fine. A bit plasticy, but for my use and the price, it was a great value. It made installing drawer and cabinet pulls much easier after you get it fine tuned. If I did this more often, I would buy a better one. For my casual use, however, it was fine.
