Not your father's regular grease
This stuff is a sticky, gooey but relatively stiff grease. There's a reason they say not to apply it with the blade running. The blade will grab it and won't let go. It sticks to everything it touches. It works ok for cutting metal on my portable bandsaw, but I prefer to use a "clean spray lube". This stuff collects all manner of chips then makes it hard to blow them away. Did I mention this stuff is sticky! Be warned.

Make that saw blade glide!
This does a great job of keeping the heat off your blade (essential for long life of the saw blade) and helps the bandsaw cut through metal with ease. Highly recommended.

Helps provide cool, clean cuts on T6061 aluminum pipe
Used this with a 10" non-ferrous metal cutting blade on my miter/chop saw to cut 1.5" & 2" T6061 aluminum schedule 40 & 80 pipe. I applied the "wax" to both sides of the blade and teeth. I reapplied whenever it looked like the blade needed some more. It's a bit messy as little bits of the "wax" get thrown off by the blade, but way neater than using a liquid lubricant and it helped provide cool, clean cuts.

Worth the purchase
Works very well on bandsaw blade.Put a couple revolutions on blade before cutting 1"x 1/8" wall square tube did very well.

It’s slick as snot!
We use these when drilling metal or cutting metal. Keeps the bits sharp and reduces wear on the blades.
