Perfect, exactly what I wanted...and needed!
I took a lot of time to go through all the different walking mats, treadmills, etc. I was so happy when I came across the Walking Pad foldable treadmill. I am going to be honest, I wanted the R1, but I don’t believe it is for sale here yet. I ended up purchasing the A1, and could not be happier. I have wanted to purchase something like this for awhile, and since the pandemic, I figured this my opportunity to do so. I needed something that was light weight and compact to fit in my small house. I LOVE the fact that not only is this compact, but it folds when not in use! It is perfect. Let me stress, I am not a runner, so I don’t need something to incline and keep vitals, etc. However, this goes up to 4mph, it counts steps, gives distance and tellers calories burned. There is an app that you can download that has a tutorial and tracks your weight.I have only gone up to 1.75 since I just received it, and can wait to go up. I am looking forward to working my way up to a jog, and eventually run. It is perfect to use when I am working. It is not loud at all. I have been on conference calls and video calls while using this, and with the exception of seeing me walking, no one can hear it while I am on it. Also, because it is so portable, I just turn it around and use it while watching a show or movie! There is a remote that comes with it, and it uses a button battery...that is not included. I am still not sure what which one it uses exactly. The remote is used to start, stop and adjust the speed. I don’t have a button battery at home, so I just turn the machine on manually.I love the folding feature. It is so compact and easy to move. A handle might make it easier and I think it might be on the newer model. The one thing I am still not sure of is how to store it. Yes, it folds, but I don’t think it can stay upright when folded, so I just keep in laying flat. It is not a problem for me. Just be careful that nothing goes on top of it when folded, as it might affect the walking belt.Customer service: there was an issue with shipping, and the company contacted me right away! They were amazing. They were able to work everything out and I even got my unit sooner than expected. It is so refreshing to work with a company that really keeps their customers in mind. They were exceptional.Overall, I would recommend this to everyone that I can. It is perfect. If you are looking for something compact and effective, this is the one for you, and the price can’t be beat! When the R1 becomes available, I am going to order it for my mother, since it has the stable bar, which she needs. Hands down, the best piece of exercise equipment I have bought!

This one is great, but there might be better?
I really love how compact it is, however, out of the box I did encounter a few problems.1. The app just refuses to connect to the machine. I have yet to fix this problem.2. The machine was set to go only 1.75 max speed. It was painful to walk that slow in order to get my steps in. However, I did fix this problem. Most times, if your phone app connects to it, you go through a tutorial to prove you actually do in fact know how to walk and then it removes the speed thing. But since my phone won't connect to it, I couldn't do that. So I went to the questions on here. The seller has been great at responding with the procedure. Except they were giving incorrect and incomplete information. In order to get the speed thing off, you need to hold the start/stop button on the remote with the side button on the machine. The seller keeps saying the mode button, but that is incorrect. Furthermore, once you get into the function menu, you need to press the plus until you get to F1 130. Then you press the mode button until you get to the max speed option. Then you press the plus button until you get to your desired max speed. Then it just times out of the menu.3. This problem isn't really MY problem, however, it does address at least one reviewers problem of the automatic mode and it just randomly shutting off. After getting my max speed set, I decided to try out the machine. So I hopped on and it quickly went to 3.75 which caused me to lag back to the rear third. Which caused it to quickly slow down and shut off. With my shoes off, I figured out the exact sweet spot to keep the speed you want without slowing down or speeding up too much before you're prepared. It literally is the seam at which the machine folds. If you straddle the fold, you will be able to easily control it.So while I would love to give it five stars, I am definitely docking off one for having to fix the speed setting and for it not connecting to my phone at all.

DOA, But Managed to Fix It
I would be giving this five stars if not for the fact that it was dead on arrival. It would not power up and the phone app could not connect via bluetooth. I normally would have returned it, considering this was the start of pandemic lockdowns in my country and they had sold out at the time, I doubt I would be able to get one again soon, so I decided to try and see if it was a simple fix.I figured that it was likely an issue with a connector to the main circuit board since it wouldn't power up at all - no lights or beeps. I was able to pry open the front/top cover and it was immediately obvious what the issue was: one of the connectors going to the circuit board was not connected. I pushed it back in to place and powered it on. The display lit up and it has been working fine ever since. I realize this is not something most people would be able to do on their own and it isn't a great indicator of the QA or robustness of this design, assuming that connector came lose sometime during shipping.Note that in order to "unlock" the full 3.7 mph speed, you need to go through the full "training" course for about five minutes or so where you walk on it at increasing speeds and with some of the extra features like auto speed changing enabled. From there on, you can manually set any speed and walk away. Just uninstall the phone app after that, it's pretty terrible.I am impressed with how quiet the whole thing is and it's ability to fold is very handy. I can fit it under my bed!The only other annoyance is that there isn't any sort of handles on it and it is rather heavy and cumbersome to move around, even when folded in half.Overall, it is one of the better designed walking treadmills out there.

Game changer!
I’ve used this thing every single day since it arrived and never have I missed hitting my 10k steps! It’s perfect for when you’re watching tv or need a stretch break when working from home. It folds up nicely to roll away in the corner but it is extremely heavy. All to say, this really helps me stay more active.

Very satisfied!
Extremely happy of this product, easy to install and use immediately. Don’t expect to run, but you can achieve a pretty decent walking cadence. Fits just fine under my desk. Would highly recommend

DONT PURCHASE!!!
Arrived broken. Wouldn’t even turn on. It approved a return but shipping it back was half the price of the treadmill and wouldn’t arrive in time. Useless waste of money.

Gutes Office-Laufband
Das Laufband kann bei 2,5-3 Km/h optimal während der Arbeit oder Zoom-Meetings genutzt werden. So legt man in 1 Std.
