The best shampoo I've used so far.
I've had a couple of carpet shampoo cleaning machines, originally I had a Vax, now I have a Bissell Deep Clean Deluxe. I've tried a variety of different shampoos in these machines including. Astonish Vac Maxx Machine Carpet Shampoo, 1001 3 in 1 Machine Carpet Shampoo, Bissell Wash & Protect and Vax AAA. I always found the Astonish to be the best out of these and I stuck with that for quite a while. However; although I found Astonish the most effective it still struggled on high traffic areas on my beige carpet. When my last bottle ran out I decided to see if I could find anything better and decided to try this Rug Doctor Carpet Detergent. The first thing to note is out of all the carpet shampoos I've tried the Rug Doctor has the weakest scent, but even with the others having a stronger scent, the scent always seems to practically go when the carpet has dried anyway so for me this isn't a big issue. The second thing to note, and probably the most surprising is the carpet seems to dry a lot quicker using the Rug Doctor. The instructions for use on the bottle are designed pacifically for Rug Doctor machines, there are no instructions detailing how many millilitres of Rug Doctor toad to every litre of water so I just filled the measuring cup that came with my Bissell as I would with Bissell shampoo. Edit: I've since looked on the Rug Doctor website where there are more detailed instructions. It says to fill the detergent tank with 150mls of detergent and to fill the water tank with 9 litres of water so you can adjust depending on the size of your water tank. My Bissell's water tank is 3.7 litres and my measure cup is 74mls so I was using it a little on the strong side but not drastically. Now for the important bit, out of all the carpet shampoos I've tried I must say this is the best by a long chalk, especially on high traffic areas which the Rug Doctor seemed to clean effortlessly. I always pre treat high traffic areas by spraying neat carpet shampoo over the area using one of those hand held pump up bottles you can buy in garden centres, and leaving it 10 minutes or so before cleaning.Another thing worth noting is, with the other shampoos I've used there always seems to be a little bit of froth on top of the dirty water but with the Rug Doctor there isn't any froth at all, so although it doesn't say on the bottle the Rug Doctor seems to be 0% foaming. In summery the Rug Doctor doesn't have a scent like over shampoos but the carpet dries quicker and it cleans a lot better than the other shampoos I've tried so I will be sticking with this for the foreseeable future.I've included before and after cleaning photos of a high traffic area.

You need to buy this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh my goodness! Why have I not bought this before 🤷♀️ What a fantastic product this is! Certainly a billion times better than Vax carpet cleaner! Unfortunately I have an area of carpet that my semi feral cat took a liking too... if you know where I’m going with this... totally took the putrid smell out of the carpet. Can’t guarantee she won’t use that part of the carpet again, but if it removes the stench, I’m happy!

This really cleans up
One of the best carpet cleaning solutions on the market, as we rent and have 2 children and 2 dogs we tend to clean our carpets every 6 months using a hired Rug Doctor cleaning machine. This solution is very good, I've tried some cheaper brands but it just isn't worth it when you have to clean the same carpet a number of times.

Best I’ve tried…
Usually buy Vax cleaning solution for my machine but thought I’d try this one. I had my carpets professionally cleaned 6 months ago basically for convenience and an offer the company were promoting at the time. I only required to clean my hall and a thoroughfare in the lounge after the summer so I wheeled out the trusty machine, popped the Rug Doctor cleaner in and, my goodness, the end results certainly look as good as the professional job. Very impressed with the end result. Yes, you need patience when using a home machine but if you take your time it is well worth it. First photograph shows the first sweep next to area still to do and second one the area completed.

Doesnt do 4 rooms
I used this with an official rug doctor machine, it claims to do 4 rooms, I got 1 hallway and a chair out of it, the machine throws it out so you have to keep refilling it... shame as it smelt nice and did get most of the stains out... I did have to use rug doctor high traffic quite a lot though
