works just like advertised
I used these on the bottom of a ramp I made, They do the job perfectly and provide a sturdy base for the ramp

Weight and cost .
Fantastic and strong with a gentle slope allowing easier loading into the pickup. So how do I take the ramp with me for unloading in a short box with two ramps . Two things happened, I’m old and barely could lift the individual 12” x 10’ boards . The second deterrent we’re the lumber costs . Was able to get on sale Folding aluminum ramps with bumper straps @ $ 49.00 each a saving in weight and price , and didn’t need to put it together .For future reference I would suggest a optional package . Containing your original pack with tips and bolts but add, for short box p/u ‘s , 2 handles to bolt on to 2”x 12”x 10’ , heavy duty hinges and screws for folding the wooden ramps , strap or latch at end save your fingers , and it will easily fit in too the short box P/U . There’s still the cost of wood !! Just a suggestion . Might have looked at the package differently.

So far so good
Really the only problem I had as far as with my application was the screws they send with the kit are kind of cheap. The heads have broken off on a couple. But will just run to hardware store and replace/upgrade. Overall worked for my application and seem to be holding up well.

they work as designed.
For the people that says they are not make correctly and want to modify the boards to mount them on don't know what they are talking about!!!! Modifying the board changes the forces applied to the bracket. they are made to fit flush against the board along the top edge and transfer the forces to the face of the board. there is no need to modify anything. just install. The only thing i would change is the bolts supplied. they head of the bolts are smaller than i would like but easy fix.
