Bad reviews left me concerned but I bought this puzzle anyway and am very pleased. Quality picture, pieces, and packaging! Pieces were in a reusable bag in the box. There are dividers you can assemble to do piece sorting a.NOTE ON THE PIECES!I did NOT find all the shapes to be "the same". See the pictures. Yes, the styles are standard, but there were always slight differences that made each piece unique (or at least unique to the area you're working)Note that the sky area was largely the same color, and therefore challenging. Yet with no visual contrast we were able to assemble it correctly because only the correct piece fits PERFECTLY.Great difficulty. Two adults put it together in 7 hours (14 "man-hours")We finished the main sky portion in 1.5 of that.Notice the close up of the sky to note piece variation.Also, the back of these wood pieces are labeled with section letters to help with sorting, which we didn't use until the sky and sea. This is also helpful for those few times when you're "Not Quite sure" if you have the right piece... you can check the back to confirm the letter pattern is right.Buy one!

This might be a good purchase for someone who’s looking for art they can build. But it’s not really a good purchase for anybody looking for a regular puzzle. The pieces are made of wood, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but they cut them all so they’re the exact same shape (see photo). The only difference is the edges and corners. Otherwise it’s exactly the same across the puzzle. Not only does this make it incredibly difficult to do, but it doesn’t make it particularly fun. In addition, there are letters written on the back to try to help you, which seems very difficult. You’d have to turn each piece over in order to find out if you’ve got the right one.The box does not have a decent size picture as a guide on the front, but it does come with a huge poster which is very helpful. It is beautifully packaged, with a lovely bag for the pieces, and it also comes with glue that you can put across the back so you can turn it into a piece of art for your wall. However, for anyone looking for a traditional puzzle with pieces that interlock in different ways, this is not the right puzzle for you. It’s definitely not what I was looking for. I’ll be returning it.

I found that it is easier to assemble the puzzle using the alphabet on the back.

This is a poor puzzle. The pieces are only of 2 shapes, male or female. All the same shape. There are letters on the back of the pieces so you must turn completed sections over to see if other pieces fit. And the cuts are not good. Even pieces that fit don’t go together well.

Bought it as a gift and they loved it! If you want a challenging puzzle to intrigue your mind this is it! Beautiful photo, great quality.

I was excited to start this puzzle due to the beautiful picture....however, some of the pieces were broken. Perhaps due to it being made of this wood?

Had a bit of a problem with the timing of the order but the seller made it right & I was very pleased with that. ♥️
