Perfect fit
When I ordered this I was cautious and skeptical, when it arrived and I inserted it in the center console, it was a perfect fit and exactly what I was looking for. Even has a small slot in it to allow access to a USB-C outlet that is in the center console of the 2020 Escape.

Great for 2023 XC40
Purchased this for the 2023 XC40 Mild Hybrid and works like a charm. Fits perfectly and doesn't affect the use of the trash can. Provides optimal compartments for keeping the small things at bay and provides several inches of storage underneath for the items used less often. Overall is going to greatly improve the function of the space. Highly recommend!

The SKTU 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 Volvo XC40 Center Console Organizer Insert ABS Black Materials Tray 2023 XC40 Center Console Organizer Volvo XC40 Accessories Glove Secondary Storage Boxmakes Volvo XC40 center console so much more functional.The compartments allow for a pen, small & large trays and a few “small” coins. It easily lifts out to access the large center console below.I wish there was a version that would use the space of the (useless) trash can allowing for more functionality.The Black Materials Tray 2023 XC40 Center Console Organizer is a definite buy!

Inconvenience
Bought this for my Volvo Xc40 and because of this organizer the trash can lid stays open. Pain in the butt to always have to left this thing to use the trash can. It’s an inconvenience.
