Radio Remote Control Car 1/14 Scale Porsche 911 GT3 RS RC RTR Black by RASTAR

My five year old son loves this car. We had bought a RC car at a major toy store and found out it only went forward and backward., we returned it and bought this for a similar price. This has great speed for his age, runs about a quick jog pace. Also I had read that others stated the range was only 10 feet? The range is most defiantly longer than 10 feet. My son can stand on our porch and drive it from our drive way across a two lane road all the way up to the neighbor's house across the street and still have complete control. This car is also very tough and has taken a beating, the body has no breaks in it but lots a scrapes and dings. This car can only drive on hard surfaces and doesn't do well in dirt or grass.

I purchased the Porsche 911 GT3 RS RC RTR Black for my 6 years old. I have to admit that it is a very cool toy. It looks nice and it seems high quality. After three months it is missing some little details from all the crashes that is went through, but it holds up well. My son was extremely happy that the car has head and tail lights. He loves it!A little pricey, but it makes for a great gift.

I bought this car for my son's 4th birthday. I am very happy with its build quality and performance, especially for the price point. It's an appropriate toy for a 4 year old. My son thoroughly enjoys playing with it. So far it's durability has been very good, considering the number of times it has been driven into walls etc.I elected to add some padding to the front and rear - at first to protect our skirting boards as we were playing inside the house, but ultimately it has also served to protect the car itself from knocks. I used small furniture pads (the kind you put on the bottom of chairs and then covered with black industrial tape). It doesn't look so great, but it works.The car's speed and size is such that it is better played outside. We are using it on our sport court and it has performed very well and has been great fun. It's also led to some great father/son time together as my son sits on my lap while we play and I help him steer the car.The only area for improvement would be a better joystick. The metal rod has come apart in one place, and the controls would be more intuitive if they used a joystick versus a button for forward/reverse control.

Look sharp, nice details. Running gear is OK but chews up batteries faster than any other RC car I've ever seen. Remote is pretty cheap and forward / reverse some times don't work - after just a few days of intermittent use. Worst part is that if you order more than one, as I did, you can only run one at a time as they all run on the same frequency and unlike other RC cars they won't rotate to open frequencies and can not be manually adjusted either.Perhaps a decent office piece, less so for children's use. Should be a $20 item.

For the price this toy is very nice, my 9 years old son is in love with the car, details are everywhere and it runs fine, during the night the lights looks just cool and the general impression is good

We shopped for hours for a good reasonably priced RC car for my 10 year old son and picked this. It is very awesome looking and fast - but you do have to stay very close to it for the remote to work. It is a surprisingly short distance for such a fast car. Otherwise the working lights are awesome...of course it is going to get banged up if you hit walls.

This is a very nice product. Both the headlights, and the taillights work when in motion. Make sure you attach the antenna to the remote (the antenna is kind of hidden in the box) for decent range. My Son loves this car, and it looks great.

It says ready to run - however it does not come with batteries. The range of this was so bad, its pointless. I didn't expect much in this price range, but the range of the car was no more than 10 feet. The lights only turn on when you are driving, so if you come to a stop, they turn off.The styling and detail of the car was impressive, but unless you're going to use it as a parked showpiece, there have to be better options.
