Law And Order - Special Victims Unit: Season 12

Law and Order: SVU season twelve is an amazing season of one of the best TV shows that I have ever watched. I have been watching Law and Order: SVU since it first started in 1999 and I am still obsessed with it today and I am really happy that it is available on Amazon Prime. Seasons 1-5 and Seasons 19 and 20 are available for free for all Amazon Prime Members and the rest are available to purchase. I am just very disappointed that the Original Law and Order is not available in it's entirety on Amazon Prime. Seasons 1 and 2 and Seasons 16-20 are available to purchase, which I have, and I just really hope that Seasons 3- 15 become available as soon as possible because I would be happy to purchase them. My favorite episodes from Season Twelve are Locum, when an adopted preteen girl runs away from her parents and is found at the bus station with a man named Eric Weber (Henry Ian Cusick) SVU investigates and the girl tells them that her adopted parents don't love her and are trying to make her into their biological daughter Ella, who has been missing for over 10 years. Benson and Stabler talk to the cops who investigated the original case and they learn that the cops have always suspected the parents. But further investigation leads to a kidnapper and they find Ella alive and bring her home to her family. Bullseye, when several preteen girls in a neighborhood are abducted and raped Benson and Stabler meet up with a man they met investigating their last case, Eric Weber (Henry Ian Cusick) who belongs to a neighborhood watch group called COAP (Citizens Organized Against Predators) and gets evidence to lead SVU to a convicted child molester who he claims had photos of both victims on his hard drive. After he is arrested the guy is so embarrassed that he kills himself. Further investigation reveals that Eric Weber is really a pedophile and that he framed the other guy to get away with it. Behave, a Woman (Jennifer Love Hewitt) is attacked and raped but is too terrified to cooperate with Benson to prosecute her assailant. When Benson follows her and catches her trying to buy an unlicensed gun and finally convinces her to cooperate and she tells Benson that she is terrified and that she barely ever leaves her house because her attacker has stalled her and raped her 4 times over the past 16 years. Benson finds other victims who's cases match the attacker's signature and Benson goes cross country to collect the evidence. When she gets to Los Angeles she meets Detective Rex Winters who gets her a search warrant for the suspect's storage unit and she collects a ton of evidence from it. Branded, when 2 men are attacked, drugged, hogtied and sodomized SVU investigates and stakes out the home of a third potential victim and catches a woman, Camille, with no visible connection to either of the three victims, in the act and about to attack. They search her home and learn that the 3 men that she attacked gang raped her when she was away at camp when she was 14. The rape made her pregnant and she gave her daughter up for adoption. When she was walking in the park she heard a laugh and knew it was her daughter and had a flashback to the abuse and attacked the 3 men so that they would always remember what they did to her. The new Assistant District Attorney, Gillian Hardwick (Melissa Sagemiller) brings her to trial and she is winning until she gives the defense attorney the information to find Camille's daughter to prove that she was raped. When the girl appears and reveals who her parents are one of the men breaks down and admits the rape, apologizes to Camille and tells SVU how to nail the ringleader who instigated everything Alexander Gammon (Jason Wiles). Trophy, when an environmentalist is raped, tortured, murdered and dumped in a laundry cart SVU follows the evidence to a recent parolee. They find a box with Trophies from various women, but when they link them to various victims they realize that the parolee could not have raped or killed the other women because he wasn't even born yet when they were attacked. When they find an engagement ring Benson tracks the victim down and discovers that she has Alzheimer's and is in the care of her daughter Vivian Arliss (Maria Bello) who becomes very upset when she learns that her real father was a rapist. They realize that the parolee's cellmate, Walter Burlock had just been released after serving over 30 years for multiple raped and murders. They arrest him but he walks on a technicality and is leaving when Vivian and her son, Calvin (Charlie Tahan) are leaving and Benson tells her who he is. When Burlock is murdered Benson tries to suggest that the parolee did it but Stabler suspects Vivian. Then Benson tries to find Vivian but can't, she leaves a message with her girlfriend, Sarah Hoyt (Kat Foster) and when she returns to the precinct discovers that Vivian has signed over temporary custody and left Calvin with Benson. Rescue, when a woman is raped and has her head bashed against a mirror she dies in the ER and the rape kit shows evidence leading to the EMTs. SVU investigates and finds out that the team of 2 FDNY paramedics both have things to hide- one of them steals and the other sexually assaults the injured women that they pick up. When Stabler and Fin go to arrest him he commits suicide. Stabler finds evidence that leads them to Vivian Arliss, who tries to talk her way out of being arrested by offering custody of Calvin. They arrest her and she confesses to murdering Walter Burlock, but then her girlfriend Sarah comes to the precinct and reveals that she actually killed him and that Vivian just confessed because she loves her. After Sarah is arrested and Vivian nails her out Sarah is ambushed in the parking garage and shot to death, by Calvin's father. Mask, When a woman is raped and her lover bludgeoned by a masked man calling himself "The God of Love" it leads SVU detectives to the victim's , Dr. Cap Jackson (Jeremy Irons) a psychiatrist who specializes in treating sexual addiction. Stabler goes undercover at his clinic posing as a sex addict and they find the perpetrator, another therapist. Pursuit, an investigative reporter, Alicia Harding (Debra Messing), who specializes in sting operations catching men who solicit young women online for sex has a stalker who sends her emails and disturbing packages and SVU finds an attached photo that leads them to 6 murdered young women dumped in a field. ADA Paxton has been trying to catch the man who abducted and probably murdered Harding's sister for over 25 years and is very close to Alicia Harding. When Harding goes on TV and insults the perpetrator he murders Paxton in retaliation and SVU discovers that he has been keeping tabs on Harding by dating her assistant and they apprehend him after he attacks Harding. Totem, when a little girl is found sexually assaulted and murdered in a suitcase Dr. Cap Jackson assists in the investigation and it leads them to the little girl's piano teacher, June. She confesses and then attempts suicide. Further investigation reveals that she was sexually abused by her mother and they track her down and learn that June has a younger sister, Katie who their mother is still coercing into a sexual relationship. June didn't hurt anyone but her younger sister assaulted and killed the victim and June confessed to protect her. They arrest the mother for the ongoing abuse and send Katie to a psychiatric hospital. Reparations, when a young woman is attacked in her bed the evidence leads SVU detectives to a man who delivers vegetables to the school where she teaches, (after she identifies the wrong man first) and SVU arrests Dwight, a habitual offender with a long record of drugs and burglary and his cousin, DAD Joe Dekker (Terrance Howard) from Law and Order: LA comes to New York to act as his defense attorney. Further investigation reveals that the victim's grandfather and several of his Klansman buddies had attacked and raped Dwight's mother in the 1960s but the police refused to pursue it. Dwight confesses to breaking and entering and to scaring the victim but maintains that he didn't rape her and when confronted she admits that he didn't but claims that her grandfather told her she had to say that he did or they wouldn't believe her. Bang, when a baby is found abandoned outside a gymboree it leads SVU to his mother Dede Aston (Lori Singer) and her boyfriend who is screwing her nanny behind her back. They discover that the boyfriend, Ken Turner (John Stamos) is her baby's biological father and that he has been named on 20 birth certificates over the past 10 years and is a reproductive abused who used and lies to women to make as many babies as he can. When he tried to seduce the therapist helping SVU detectives with the case she kills him with a diver's WASP knife. Delinquent, when a woman finds a drunk teenager, Hunter Mazelon (Sterling Beaumon) passed out naked on her bed he is arrested for attempted rape and makes a false molestation claim against Detective Stabler. First appearance of Assistant District Attorney Sherri West (Francie Swift) who reluctantly releases Mazelon on probation because it's his first offense. After he's releases he rapes and kills a woman and his DNA links him to 6 rapes in Oregon. After he's arrested he convinces the cops to take him to the hospital and escapes from there. His mother Bree Mazelon (Rita Wilson) tells Stabler that as a young child Hunter was molested by his babysitter and they arrest him after he kills her. This is the last season with Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) who was my favorite character and because of that Seasons 1- 12 are my favorite seasons of SVU. But I still like seasons 13-22 because the rest of the cast is also exceptional

Season 12 marked the end of Benson & Stabler. This was a definitely emotion-packed season, even right from the first episode this season (12). Stabler puts the fear of .... HIM (as in Stabler, given his ego complex) .... in multiple episodes, proving to the person he doesn't tolerate people who prey on others, doesn't play games, and makes it his mission for perps to pay for their misdeeds

I am a fan of Debra Messing's from all the way back to Ned & Stacey, so I was excited to see that she would be appearing in a episode of SVU. Messing is Alicia Harding, a TV personality that outs child molesters on national television. She becomes a victim of stalking herself and this somehow all ties in with her sister disappearing 25 years ago. Throw in Christine Lahti as ADA Sonya Paxton and there is the episode. The story was a bit muddled and seemed thrown together. Lahti was good, as always, but they cannot seem to decide what to do with her character. Is she staying or going? Is she in rehab or out? Well, this episode finally answers the question definitively.The regular cast delivers their usual fine performances, but Messing lacks a bit as a dramatic actress. I believe the story had potential, but needed a bit more time to unfold. They tried to tell it to quickly and left the viewer with a "Wait a sec...who was that?" feeling.

I love this program. I missed several episodes in the past and am trying to catch up on some that I missed. I wantedto see why Elliot was not in it anymore. but can view it yet. I happened to get on Amazon which I have belong to for a long time andwas able to get their episodes streamed to me on my computer. I cannot get too many as of yet because I do not have the time .eventually I will get see them allespecially the last 10 episodes in the 2010 series.I recommend these and all shows on Amazon. I'm a SVU junkie, so I loved this in spite of already seeing nearly every episode! This is an awesome series and I love love love Marissa Hargitay and Christopher Meloni.SPOILER ALERT!!!!This is the season where Meloni wraps up his SVU career, which I've been dying to figure out why. However, I was still confused about it after watching every single episode!

I just love Law and Order: SVU. These episodes are intelligently put together. Very captivating and perfectly suspenseful. If you are looking for a good crime mystery, this is it for you. Guaranteed. Don't settle for CSI and NCIS. :)

The episode was very great first and foremost. I won't post any spoilers for those of you who haven't seen it yet.The quality of the picture was awesome. I am very impressed by the quality & will definitely make purchases in the future .

I saw a clip on tik tok and needed to watch the complete episode. It was worth it!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have been back and forth on messages with them to refund my money for aDVD that I returned. It’s been 3 months and I have sent them every thing they have asked for to process the return. They are STILL requesting these same things (receipts, sworn statements etc!!). I’m sure they’re waiting for me to just give up!! Hoping Amazon can please help???
