Works Great! Much better than an automatic shock only collar. I have a high energy small dog that loves to bark and play but sometimes he continues to bark even when told to stop. So far the collar has made him more prone to follow commands and stop barking. I have not used the shock option yet because the vibration seems to be enough to get his attention.One thing that you should know is this. The description says small/medium/and large dogs. However the instructions say this collar is intended to be used with dogs 20lbs and over. I personally don't think it makes a difference because all the setting are adjustable including the shock mode. Setting the shock to 99 would probably not be a good idea. I am a big dog and tried it on my arm 20 was as high as I could go. Some dogs are more stubborn than others so start low and use your best judgement. The collar itself was a little big for my 10lb dog but the device can easily be put on a different collar. The device itself is no bigger than other shock collars for small dogs.Overall I am happy and love the fact that the collar and transmitter are rechargeable. The transmitter has a light which is a nice feature to night walks. The remote features a clip and a loop so you could also add a lanyard. The only thing that could be improved is a flip up cover could be added to protect the buttons from accidental activation. Other than that I give is an A+

The first collar I received didn’t work after about a month. I left my original review below and the nice friendly customer service team contacted me and offered to send me a new collar since the one I received was defective. I have not received it yet but hopefully this one will work better than the last one. I appreciate that they were willing to fix the issue that I had since the collar didn’t last long and was working very well to correct my dogs bad behaviors.I have a one year old Great Pyrenees mix and he has some behavior issues I’ve been working to fix and this really seemed to help it worked great at first. And after about a month the collar just stopped working. The remote stays it’s sending the vibrating signal to him when he misbehaved but I noticed he wasn’t correcting it as quickly so I checked the collar and it doesn’t work anymore. Not sure if it died and now it won’t hold a charge or what happened but the whole thing is useless now because all I have is a working remote. It was great for correcting his bad behaviors like barking and not coming when I called him. For about a month.

I must say, they're customer service is great. I wasn't pleased with the item and they promptly refunded me and sent a replacement! Excellent! I wasn't pleased second time but I had nothing to loose. Don't expect an expensive collar from this. It's fifty dollars and it will work great if you use it sparingly. (two days at a time max) Don't leave it on you dog for a month because it will run out of batteries. Overall this is a great collar for the money with great customer service from the people selling it!This was my original review:This thing only works the first time you charge it. The second and third time it will only stay charged for maybe a day. If you are serious about training your dog get a more expensive collar. You're just going to have a return on your hand here.

We live in the country and our pit mix dog (someone dumped) would wander into our neighbors pasture and want to play with his cows. She would also chase our horses. She would only mind when she wanted to. When she would misbehave and not respond to voice commands, we used the collar to remind her to mind our commands and then she was rewarded for responding. We try to keep close tabs on where she is at all times when she is out but now even when she roams out of our sight, 99.9% of the time she responds to our voice commands. She is able to be with us whether we are working horses or working around the farm. Great training tool if used properly.

I was desperate. Little dog barking all day long at everything and anything. Absolutely brutal. I put this collar on and have never even had to use the vibrate or shock. I beeped him the first time he barked and he started to make the association. On top of that, I now just HOLD the remote control and use it like a magic wand to make him come to me, or sit. It's honestly like a different household since we got this thing. When people come to the front door, he gets excited, but doesn't bark. If he barks once, I simply show him the controller and boom...it's over. Outside trying to get him back in. Show him the remote...here he comes! I'm still cool on five stars, but the only thing I don't really like is the collar, it's a rubbery material and I think this would be better if it were mounted on a traditional cloth-like material. A small pittance for the behavior improvement. Five stars!

Amazing results, worked day one and everyday after. Only have to use the sound and and very rarely the vibrate. Never used or needed the shock....I have a 110 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback...instantly stopped all leash pulling and had him right by my side, able to run with him on first try, and working on household manners!

I received item on April 4th. It worked great for 30 days, then it stopped holding a charge. I continued to charge it, also note that every single time you charge it, you have to REPROGRAM it, which is a pain! So now, after 56 days of use, the collar is not holding a charge at all. The cheap one that I'd first purchased doesn't go the distance this one did.... but, it still works fine, only having to charge it once per month.

I dislike that I have to use a shock collar to get my dogs attention when he is out of reach and distracted. But it works great. When he goes to chase a deer on to a road a quick "NO!" And vibrate will get him to stop chasing the deer and pay attention to me. I Haven't had the need to use the shock yet and I prefer it that way. I prefer positive training and this helps communicate when I say no means no near or far. Water proof and works a good distance that I am comfortable lettin him roam.

I purchased this product and it worked for the first few days and thaN after just 4 days I could no longer charge the unit which went around the dogs neck rendering the unit useless. Contacted the seller but didn't hear back from them despite it being a defective unit. My advice, stay away from this seller on amazon because they are certainly not interested in customer satisfaction.
