Origin: Lemon grasses originate from South East Asia and India. Propagation: With temperatures at 15-22°C, first sprouts will appear after 15-25 days. Scatter the seeds over cultivation soil or herb soil, press on lightly and cover them thinly. Keep evenly moist until germination, but not too wet. All lemon varieties have a germination rate of about 55%.Place / Light: As it is the case with laurel, it is the leaves of the lemon grass that are processed. After removal, they are lightly squeezed at the thickened leaf base in order to release more aroma. They are a perfect for soups with coconutmilk, chicken, wok dishes and for seafood.
