Love this embroidery thread! Every color you could possibly need.

I wrote an initial bad review...Was looking for a DMC substitute thread and this comes nothing close to DMC brand, BUT, when I started working with it for cross stitching, found it was pretty good quality.CONS:1) DMC has a gloss and shine to it and this thread did not have any (except 4 colors out of the pack were glossy so it's mixed quality threads-inconsistant). You can see from one of my pictures attached.2) There is no # on the thread labels to determine what color reference to use. So if you use this thread, you can't refer to anything to match it unless you bring the skein in to swatch the right color. And I ordered this again and the colors are not the same.3) Their color selection is minimal. Mostly primary colors and pastels. Not enough hued colors for degredation.PROS:1) The thread does not frey or break and fuzz while using it. It keeps a pretty good consistent stitch all the way through (except for lighter colors...but those colors are horrible for most brands).2) The colors do appear more vibrant than I expected and it pops off my Aida fabric. All colors of fabric.3) This came with enough repeat skeins so I could finish bigger project. Most mass bundles come with one skein of each color. I liked that this included more than 3 of one color.I do wish they had more colors and # association so I could refer to it again. I attached a pic of Calvin and Hobbes cross stitch I did using only this thread. Came out pretty good!

The listing states “made with cotton and silk” but they came labeled 100% cotton

I have ordered this rainbow pack three times now and I love the colors in this set. I started making friendship bracelets as something to do to relax after a long day of working from home during quarantine and I became completely addicted! This floss is soft and easy to use, does not fray (too much) and looks beautiful in the finished product. I'm now going to start trying to embroider with it on the face masks I've been sewing, looking forward to trying that out. The only negative thing I have to say is that the way the bundles come packaged they definitely have a tendency to get knotted up way too easily when pulling out the amount of thread needed and I do spend a lot of time untangling before I can cut a piece off to use but other than that this is great floss and I will continue to buy it when I run out again.

I'm only just starting cross stitch and it is very nice to have a good supply of embroidery floss to start with. It's also good that there's more than one bundle of each color, since I went through a little over one bundle of mauve floss for my first project since getting this floss. Next I just need to get a supply of aida so I can do more projects, and frames so I can actually display them.(I will get aida and frames in my own time and I know where to find them both, please do not recommend any to me)

My oldest daughter is into crotchet and making friendship bracelets. She asked me to buy this so that she can make things and then sell them. I was happy to oblige.

Great string for bracelet making. Lots of colors and the thread is of good quality.

The product description is accurate for how many skeins and the colour selection that you'll get. I was a bit worried at first when it arrived because the skeins are randomly placed in the plastic bag, so it looks like you're getting a greater number of lime green and bright yellow skeins. But after sorting, I found this was not the case.My one real complaint about these is a bit of a quality issue - they're not as glossy as other skeins I've bought previously, and tend to stick to one another, especially while doing braids or other friendship bracelet-like projects. I found this frustrating. I'm sure with practice this will be less of an issue but it's not what I remember experiencing before, so I will note it here.Otherwise the set itself is very good; I like the colour selection and the price for money is decent.

a rainbow of colours at an excellent price. I used the full thickness of six strands and half thickness of three designd for embroidered initials on santa sacks and was pleased with the results. No tangles or snags and the colour depth was good. Very pleased
