Fast, Better than USB Extender Hubs
Was using USB extender hubs before, this is a big upgrade.USB extender hubs are under powered and they share the same hub channel so they're slower and prone to weird disconnect and read and write errors because of the poor power supply and regulation. So far my USB devices and drives are faster, more responsive and fingers crossed have not gotten weird disconnect or read and write errors using this card. For the price definitely worth it if you have lots of USB drives, save yourself the headache with this instead of trying to buy extend your USB ports with USB hubs.

Great way to expand (or in my case replace broken) USB ports.
Worked like a champ - just plug and play on my Windows 10 machine. An update - because this is a PCIE card, if you have a keyboard or mouse plugged into it, they will work, but they will not wake the computer up from sleep mode (my guess is the PCIE slot becomes inactive when the computer is in sleep mode). Likewise, upon boot, you cannot press the ESC key and have they system go into your boot menu/BIOS setup. The card is not active until later in the boot process.

Awesome product
This product is awesome. A whole bunch of USB slots for very cheap, and it works well. It is easy to install, is basically plug and play, and is small enough that it fits well. Super easy to connect and use, just plug it into the motherboard.

Does not recognize devices plugged in-update!!
UPDATED:Okay, I found some interesting things going on.1. This does not play well with other 3.0 hubs.I have a "Plugable(tm) USB 3.0 hub device. Using this AND the Card together is a no-go. They cancel each other out. So I can use either the Hub, or the PCI Card, but not both. This goes regardless of which USB port the Hub is plugged into. You cannot run the hub off this card. But also if you plug into any port on your Motherboard... same thing. Neither device will work. It may be due to the fact that the PCI card is non-powered. I really don't know. Even though the Hub is powered. Something conflicts between the two.Alone; this unit works fantastic!I did some reading; In order to do what I'm doing, the card MUST have a powered connection from the main power supply. I had like powered card in another computer and tried thing on that and it worked 100% fine there. Returning this one and getting a powered board.-----------------------------------Well sadly, I am one of the numbers to where this did not work. My system recognized the card - for the most part. I still had to install the drivers [supplied], and Windows saw it right away. The downside: not a single device that I plugged into it was recognized.I've read that a few people received a replacement and those worked.

Ive Been Building PCs For Decades And Never Experienced This. MADNESS!
Ive been building PCs for decades at this point and Ive seen pretty much everything that could go wrong with a system go wrong with a system. That said, Ive just found a new thing that can go wrong with a system.Initial install of the usb hub was easy, went right into a pcie slot and worked without issue....FOR 3 DAYS.After three days, the hub decided it didnt want to charge anything that was plugged into it, it also decided that it apparently didnt like the way my gpu was looking at it....and completely disabled it.After many hours and trial and error trying to figure out why my gpu had suddenly stopped working, I looked at the usb hub that I had installed 3 days prior and thought "Theres no way that this is the problem! How could a usb hub completely scuttle my 1080ti?!". After concluding there were no other issues with my system, having swapped out the power supply, reseated all the ram, reseated the cpu and unplugged, replugged, powered down and powered back up again innumerable times, I pulled the usb hub out of the system and JUST LIKE THAT! the gpu sprung back to life!It is utter insanity that a usb hub would make a gpu stop working, but it did.I bought this after having read multiple reviews stating it had caused any number of problems, most of which could be attributed to user error or some minor issue with a driver. After reading them I decided the risk was low enough to purchase this item and give it a try.And that was a huge mistake. Ive wasted hours on this piece of junk now and Im returning it immediately.I would suggest you dont bother buying this in the first place because its trash.

Minor surgery required on my pc...
Something you might experience installing this...as well as other expansion type cards...The product works as expected, but some cases may have to be adjusted for the card to fit. My ATX case needed the removal of the thin strip of metal that seperates the slots on the back. Try as I could...the card would not accrept USB plugs because the strip was preventing the plug to slide into the card. I had to remove the strip to gain an extra thousandth of an inch need for the cables to plug in. It's not the cards fault at all, but the case just wasn't exact enough to allow clearence . I've installed other cards in pc's of all types, GPU, AUDIO, USB etc with no problems..just be aware minor surgery may be needed to make it fit..

Works well, easy to install
Installed it in an ASUS Motherboard from 2017 that is running Windows Server 2019, I did not need to install any drivers for it to work.

Nice little piece of hardware if your mobo is slacking.
Works as it should. Everything I've plugged into it works like a charm. Those worried about the USB not plugging in all the way, the connection is made fine even if a small 1/8th inch is sticking out. USB's are long enough and no worries. I managed to copy 4tb of data onto an external drive with no issues.
